Hasta La Vista Postie!
'Tis truely the end of an era, three years and a couple of days since we first moved in we are leaving the Post Office Flat and Chorleywood.

The flat has been in the 'family' for almost ten years having previously been occupied by Sarah and Fraser, close friends of Diana's who had both their children here. We had been talking recently about wanting to move up from living in student standard accomodation, and a new landlord give us the reason we needed. He came to us with the outstanding offer to redecorate the entire interior of the flat to his standard (which he would not specify) at our own expense within two months, and in exchange the rent would be frozen at £600 per month for one year, rising to £850 per month after that. What do you say to an offer like that? Bye bye Mr Barchha. Not that he will worry though, despite our attempts to show him that the building is falling apart he is "very experienced in dealing with property" and knows that he can get £850 a month by repainting the walls. So if you are looking for a flat in Chorleywood close to all amenities

with a character bathroom

and water feature

In good decorative order

Just call in at the Post Office downstairs. As for us we are moving to Chesham, we have a nice terraced house lined up which we will post pictures of soon. It's in the old part of town and has a really nice feel to it so hopefully we'll be really happy there. Bookings for visitors are being taken already.
